PRESS: Interior Ministry says unhappy about Elbrus processors work
MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Interior Ministry is disappointed with performance of servers working on national processors Elbrus by microprocessor company MCST, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday.
“The problems during their exploitation slow down digitalization of the authority,” the daily reported, quoting the ministry.
It became known in December 2021 that the country’s largest consumers of server equipment were unhappy about the computing devices working on the national processors, the daily reported.
MCST told the daily that it is aware of the problems and intends to solve them in new releases of the products, and suppliers of Russian servers say that the transition to the national processors is vital.
